Kusadasi is a resort town in Turkey. It is located in Aydin Province and is washed by the waters of the Aegean Sea. This is a famous tourist destination with lush nature and white beaches — the Aegean Sea attracts divers from all over the world. While the view on land would impress an average tourist, divers will be met by the underwater landscapes full of colourful coral reefs, walls, tunnels and caves. In 2016, a new submerged object was created — a plane. It quickly became home to large fish. In these clear waters, good visibility is guaranteed even at a great depth. Diving exceeds all expectations. Divers are actively engaged in extreme night dives: there is a big chance to see incredible creatures hiding from the light.
You can reach Kusadasi from the international airports of Bodrum and Izmir. There you can take a taxi, bus or train. Renting a car is also possible. The journey on average takes about 1 hour.
The climate in Kusadasi is suitable for diving all year, except for season of brief downpours (from December to February). The best time for diving is from April to November when the air temperature is +20-34 °С, and the water temperature is +18-25 °С. January is the wettest month, and July is the driest one.
